Serve Up Fun with Youth Volleyball at the Y!
Bump, set, spike—let’s go! Our Youth Volleyball program is the perfect way for kids to learn the game, stay active, and build lifelong skills on and off the court.
Players will grow their confidence as they practice teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship—all while making new friends and having a blast! Parents, you’ll love watching them thrive in a positive, encouraging environment.
At the Y, we focus on development over competition, and every serve is a chance to teach values like respect, responsibility, honesty, and caring.
Whether your child is just getting started or looking to sharpen their skills, volleyball at the Y is where passion and play come together. Game on!
FALL/SPRING VOLLEYBALL
- Our league is open to boys and girls ages 7-12. Below are how the age groups are divided:
- 7-9 Coed
- 10-12 Coed
- Uniform and required equipment:
- A uniform jersey will be provided by the Y
- Families are responsible to provide additional equipment (tennis shoes)
Season Schedule and Registration Dates:
- Fall Season:
- Registration is open from June 1 - August 9
- Our season runs from late August through late October
- Spring Season:
- Registration is open from November 30 - February 7
- Our season runs from mid March through early May
- Practices: Once per week for one hour
- Monday-Friday starting at 5:30pm or 6:30pm
- Practice location is at home branch (branch you registered for)
- Games:
- All leagues will have games at Sally’s and/or Lincoln County Family YMCA
- All age groups play 7 regular season games
- Games are on weeknights and/or Saturdays
- Ages 7+ will participate in a single-elimination tournament at the end of the season. Expect weeknight games for the tournament.
