SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION OPEN FOR YMCA OF CATAWBA VALLEY

The YMCA of Catawba Valley is thrilled to announce the opening of registration for its highly anticipated summer camps. Catering to a diverse range of interests and age groups, the YMCA is offering a variety of camps, including Traditional Summer Camps, Full-Day Sports Camps, Half-Day Sports Camps, Teen Camps, and Preschool Camps.

With a commitment to providing enriching experiences for children and teenagers, the YMCA of Catawba Valley continues to create memorable summer adventures that promote personal growth, social development, and a love for activities. From exploring other parts of the world to learning about what is in our backyards, kids and teens will engage in activities carefully crafted to stimulate their minds and foster creativity.

YMCA Summer Camps:

  • Traditional Summer Camp:
    • Ages: 5-12, must have completed Kindergarten
    • Unplug and connect with nature through a mix of outdoor adventures, arts and crafts, and team-building activities. Campers will create lasting friendships while enjoying a range of exciting activities.
  • Full-Day and Half-Day Sports Camp:
    • Ages: Varies depending on camp
    • Ideal for the sports enthusiast, these camps offer various sports and recreational activities, fostering skill development, teamwork, and a passion for an active lifestyle. Each location and week features a different sport.
  • Teen Camp:
    • Ages: Rising 6th - 11th graders
    • Tailored to the unique interests and needs of teenagers, this camp provides a mix of adventure, leadership development, and opportunities for personal growth.
  • Preschool Camps:
    • Ages: 3-5, not have completed Kindergarten
    • Designed with the youngest campers in mind, these camps focus on age-appropriate activities, socialization, and hands-on learning to prepare preschoolers for future educational experiences.
