The Murph Challenge
The Murph Challenge honors the legacy of Lt. Michael P. Murphy, a U.S. Navy SEAL who gave his life in service during Operation Red Wings in Afghanistan in 2005. Awarded the Medal of Honor, Lt. Murphy is remembered for his courage, leadership, and sacrifice.
The Murph Challenge is a nationwide Memorial Day workout tradition that brings communities together to honor fallen service members. The workout consists of a 1-mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 air squats, and another 1-mile run—completed in tribute to those who served.
