
The YMCA Coaching Connection will provide you a foundation for lasting and long-term change. Your wellness coach will be committed to providing the support, knowledge and encouragement needed to motivate and inspire a healthier lifestyle. This program is specifically designed to help our members set and achieve their individual wellness goals! Coaching Connection is included as part of your YMCA membership at 2 (two) sessions per week for 4 (four) weeks for a total of 8 (eight sessions).
Program Steps
Visit the front desk or a wellness staff member to schedule your first session with a wellness coach.
In your first session, the objective will be to establish a wellness baseline. You will meet with your wellness coach to review your health and wellness history and set your long-term goals, both which will support a safe and effective workout plan.
Your wellness coach will help you establish a plan of action to meet your individual goals. This includes creating a personalized workout plan that will provide guidance on the proper use of our state-of-the-art fitness equipment and your specific settings . In addition, you and your wellness coach will evaluate fitness options, like our various GroupEx classes that will support your long-term goals and enhance your experience at our facility.
Your coach will periodically monitor your various workouts to offer advice, guidance and support. After all 8 sessions, you will have the tools to embark on your fitness journey to achieve your goals. After 2 months, members are encouraged to re-enroll in our Coaching Connection program so that we can continue to motivate and educate you in health and wellness.
