At the Y, we offer coaching connection to help you get yourself into the routine of coming and working out at the Y. Coaching connection is included in your membership at no additional costs. You would be set up with a wellness coach and work with them one time per week for 6 weeks. At the end of the 6 weeks you will have 6 different workouts in your hands that you can bring and do at the Y. Coaching connection is a great way to get back in the routine and find some exercises you may have never done but would enjoy.
An exercise routine can be hard to start. To have a better chance at success start with a small goal. It might be to come in a couple times a week for a half hour. As you get more consistent you can always add more days or more time. Another tip might be to add exercising to your planner. If you see it as an appointment you are more like to go and do it.
