You can now register online for selected programs!
Currently, online registration is only available for Spring Soccer programs at the Hickory Foundation YMCA and Shuford YMCA. Other programs will be added at a later date.
First time users:
Please read the instructions below before proceeding with online registration.
How To Register
- A login and password are required. If you have previously participated in a YMCA program, or you are currently a YMCA member, you have been automatically assigned a username and password.
- If you do not know your login and password:
- Your current e-mail address is on file at the YMCA: click retrieve log-in (under My Account); your username and password will be sent to you.
- You do not have an e-mail address on file at the YMCA: please send an e-mail to memberservice@ymcacv.org. You will receive your login and password shortly thereafter.
- Once logged in, you have the option to change both login and password.
- Restrictions:
Registration must be entered in the name of the participant. Some programs have age restrictions; contact the YMCA if you have questions or are unable to register due to age restrictions. If you see a question mark similar to the image below, move your cursor over it for further instructions.

- Click Register for classes
- Select desired branch location
- Select program and class (Click box next to desired class)
- Add to cart (Repeat steps b and c if registering for more than one)
- When complete View cart
- Provide payment information. We accept Discover, MasterCard and Visa.
- Please print your receipt for registration confirmation.
- IMPORTANT – BEFORE YOU CLOSE YOUR BROWSER:
The next screen will appear requesting program specific information such as shirt size. Download documents and complete requested information.
General Information:
- Most programs are limited in size and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Program fees must be paid at the time of registration.
- Financial assistance is available, but you must register in person to apply.
- Refunds / Cancellations:
- In the event of a cancellation by the YMCA through no fault of the participant, a full refund will be issued.
- If participant wishes to cancel registration, the YMCA must be notified within 3 business days of program start date and a $10.00 processing fee will be charged.
- Program Fees(Applies to most YMCA programs):
- YMCA Members receive a preferred rate for programs
- Participants must be a member to receive the member rate
- Non-Members may register but will pay a higher program fee
