Progressions
The Successful Approach to Wellness
Have you ever started an exercise regimen
or diet but couldn’t stick with it?
Progressions, our 4-week wellness program,
is designed to help you build a healthy
lifestyle that will stand the test of
time. Each participant will work with a
YMCA wellness coach to set personal goals.
By learning the importance of exercise and
making good choices about your diet and
lifestyle, you will make the progress you
always wanted in Progressions. And,
Progressions is available to members
at no additional charge!
Personal Training
Some people will desire more one-on-one
coaching and supervision beyond the
Progressions program to be facilitated by
a certified personal trainer. The YMCA has
several certified personal trainers on our
staff, and sessions are purchased either
individually or in blocks:
1 session $35
5 sessions $165
10 sessions $330
20 sessions $660
Invest in your health today with the
guidance of one of the YMCA’s certified
personal trainers. Sessions can be
purchased at the Member Service Desk at
the Hickory Foundation YMCA.
Fitness Assessments
Measure your results. Blood pressure, body
fat, strength, cardiovascular endurance
and flexibility can all be tested by our
Wellness Coaches. Call to schedule an
appointment. No Charge for testing at
3-month intervals.
Running & Fitness Club
Looking for a swimming, cycling or running
group to be involved with? The YMCA’s
Running & Fitness Club is perfect for you!
